[Requiem might be as close to perfect as it will ever be. If all their loved ones were here, and she could have him always, she would consider it perfect.
Now, she simply finds herself hoping the sun never rises.]
[He’d like to think she’s exaggerating, but he knows what he did. He keeps stroking her face, tenderly, and he leans in to briefly kiss her before pulling away to sit up.]
Just rest here a moment, then, while I fill the tub.
[It hasn’t been long enough for anything drastic, but he’s at least well-fed. Nearly six months of robust meals, takeout or otherwise, has let his sculpted muscles flourish a bit more, properly and regularly fed in a way he hadn’t been since he was a boy. He thinks of none of this, of course. He just shuffles off to the bathroom, pausing midway to rid himself of his pants.
[Jill, not wanting a very slippery sort of flooding in her bathroom, gingerly pushes herself to the edge of the bed. The duvet is going to have to be washed, and she groans a little as she stands.
She will definitely feel him in the days to come.]
[It’s odd to have her in his arms again, but there are no boundaries he can lay down, having already come in her twice. He opens an arm to her, holding her to him, his own cheek against the top of her head. This is good. He missed this.]
[That he can bring himself to do it will hurt her, too.
Jill sighs softly and knows the sound of her tub. She takes one of Clive's hands and reluctantly pulls away from him, but takes him with her so she can turn off the water.]
[Her insistence is mildly alarming and deeply sad, he thinks. Wordlessly, he steps one foot into the bath, as if to prove he’s serious, and shifts his grip on her hands to be supportive, to help her in. ]

This is all I could ever want.

Tonight, we live in a perfect world.

Now, she simply finds herself hoping the sun never rises.]
I will only ever want you.
no subject
Whenever you say that, all I want to do is make love to you.
[It’s dangerous.]
no subject
You're all I ever could want.
no subject
Let us bathe, then I’ll take you back to bed.
no subject
We'll see if I can walk.
[There's a faint but very much present ache between her legs.]
no subject
Just rest here a moment, then, while I fill the tub.
no subject
All right.
[She openly looks him over, as if she might expect to see a change in his body since they've been apart.]
no subject
The water runs hot. He calls back:]
Do you want oils in it?
no subject
[He'll be sharing it with her, after all. And she's eager to relax against him, soaking in the bath and his company.]
no subject
[He cranks the taps on. Has he ever run a bath before, much less put oils in? No, but he can figure it out.]
no subject
She will definitely feel him in the days to come.]
Give me a moment, I'll be right there.
no subject
I have it handled. Just rest.
no subject
I can rest here.
[She means against his chest, arms slipping around him, cheek settling against his shoulder.
She has to soak up what she can.]
no subject
Does it hurt?
no subject
A few things hurt. All of them worth it. [Her heart aches in anticipation of tomorrow, and her ass hurts. It's all what she's wanted.]
no subject
I’m glad it’s worth it, at least.
[The tub is nearly full.]
no subject
Jill sighs softly and knows the sound of her tub. She takes one of Clive's hands and reluctantly pulls away from him, but takes him with her so she can turn off the water.]
no subject
I think it’ll overflow if I step in there with you.
no subject
[(She will care when there's water damage.)
Jill turns, tugging him closer.]
I want you with me. I don't want to be served by you.
no subject
That’s alright, Jill. I’ll stay.
no subject
I think I miss the trust we had between us most of all.
no subject
[There’s no small amount of sympathy there. He eases her down into the hot bath.]
I miss that terribly… and yet it’s hardest to get back.
no subject
ways. Jill bites back any sound she might be inclined to make as she sits, hot water greeting the tender parts of her body.]
It used to be a rare thing when you doubted my words.
